Australian ski resorts report best opening snow conditions in a decade with over 50cm of fresh powder.
The 2025 ski season has kicked off with exceptional conditions across all major Australian resorts. Mt Hotham leads the way with 60cm of fresh snow, while Perisher and Thredbo report 55cm each. Resort operators are thrilled with the early season dump, which has allowed them to open more terrain earlier than usual.
